I am happy to confirm that the majority of the £250k investment orders have now been placed. The fabulous new equipment and facilities will all be installed this coming December!!! ALL EXCITING!
The confirmed orders are made up of:
· The day spa relaxation/café area will receive a total refurbishment to create a high spec and modern look
· The original fire & ice spa will be refurbished and upgraded to match the new areas
· An additional Crystal steam room, an 18-person Finnish sauna, 6 more-foot spas, 4 new high-spec monsoon showers and 14 relaxing seating spaces will all added to the Swimming Pool and Fire & Ice Spa areas

· In the static resistance area, a cable lat pull down, cable chest press, cable row, cable shoulder press, triceps dip, bicep arm curl, glute extensor and a high row from Life Fitness/Hammer strength will be added
· In the advanced trainer area, all the Olympic discs will be upgraded, a new set of dumbbells from 5kg-50kg will arrive and we will also receive a plate loaded triceps dip all from the Hammer Strength range.
· In the sports performance centre, we will receive an overhead leg press and an additional Hammer strength leg press!
· A total refurbishment of the top floor including a new designed Hot Yoga Studio!
I am also still working incredibly hard to hit Decembers target for the building of the side extension of the mill to create an additional 7 new treatment rooms and a new relaxation area.
This month we will receive delivery of an additional 2 heated loungers for around the pool and the café area will open around the pool.
Recruitment, our biggest investment ever?
The obvious progress and development of the club and spa has been backed up by massive investments in new staff. We do now have a team of 90 people now and in August alone I have recruited a new director of the spa, 2 new spa managers, an additional duty manager, 2 new additional Life guards and 2 more cleaners… The growth of the business does dictate that I am now looking for an inhouse chartered accountant, spa therapists, front of houses, receptionists, hospitality staff, cleaner/janitors, freelance personal trainers and Les Mills group exercise instructors. Summer of 2018 £500k investment update!
We are steaming ahead with the previously announced plan to extend into the mill roof space. I am speaking daily to architects, engineers, building contractors/consultants and fitness equipment facilities… The area will consist of a new additional group exercise studio, an additional gym space consisting of 80 pieces of equipment and office space for our growing management team
