£100K SPA REFURBISHMENT NOW COMPLETE
I am delighted to announce that after a superb effort by the building contractors the spa refurbishment is now complete and looking simply stunning!… To confirm the completed works:
· A new themed ceiling above the original Hydrotherapy pool
· Redecoration of the original Hydrotherapy Pool area
· Installation of a powerful ventilation and air temperature in the fire & ice spa
· Refurbishment and replacement of the benches in the saunas
· Retiling and installation of themed lighting in the salt inhalation room
· Retiling of the waterfall in the café
· Removal of the glass doors/partition to create an open plan between the fire & ice spa and main pool area
· An upgrade and extension to the themed music system to the main pool area
· Remedial works where required outside the saunas and steam rooms
£2 MIILION IMPROVEMENTS PLAN, THE NEXT STAGE!
We are now all set to start to plan and implement the next stages of our ambitious improvements plan. I can now confirm the following & schedules:
• The upgrade of the ventilation system in Studio 2, the Static Resistance room and Advanced Trainer in September
• The installation of an awesome new 12-person Volcano Sauna in the Fire & Spa this October!
• The refurbishment of reception to create a fabulous new look will take place in November… This will include a new entrance into the building to allow easier access. We will also create a small café and separate spa check in desk.
• The fitting of a new rubber floor, ceiling and lighting system in the Advanced trainer Area in December
• The ladies only gym part of the club’s equipment will all be upgraded and replaced in January 2020 with a budget of £180k
• Work (subject to planning) will start in the spring of 2020 to install a whole new floor in the mill to create a new group exercise studio and new fitness area with 80 pieces of equipment with a £500k budget!
FEEDBACK REQUIRED
As of the last 12 years I will always look to add equipment and facilities whenever I can. Due to our loyal members and returning spa guests I now have a certain budget for additional improvements on top of the advertised £2 million improvements programme. I would like to ask for all feedback, ideas and suggestions please:
