APRIL NEWS…£2 MILLION POUNDS IMPROVEMENT UPDATE…NEW EQUIPMENT…OFFERS..
£2 Million Pounds Improvement Update!!
As of the last 11 years we are steaming ahead with our aggressive improvements programme and we continue to strive to be the best we can be…. I am quite lucky that I have just returned from the IHRSHA Fitness convention in San Diego. I managed to catch up with all of our suppliers and looked at their latest fitness equipment releases for ideas to integrate into our plan to build and extend into the loft space of the Mill. I also negotiated with the suppliers regarding the planned upgrade of all the equipment in our fabulous ladies only zone…. As a result of negotiations, I anticipate the ladies only zone equipment will be upgraded in the autumn of this year, and a whole new floor in the loft space consisting of 80 pieces of new equipment plus a new group exercise studio, will open in the spring of 2020 with a budget of £500k! (obviously still plenty of hoops to jump through with all the local authorities)
As many of you are aware, the builders have been extending the mill to create additional space in the male changing rooms. The side extension will house all the toilet facilities, which in turn will create additional changing space. The completion date for this is Mid May 2019.
A whole new and improved water system is on its way! Over the last few weeks the water & gas engineers have been monitoring our water use as we look to upgrade to our current system. This has now concluded and now the work is all set to start in the next few weeks to ensure the whole building’s pressure is the best it can be. Please note that all the work will be completed at night with no disruptions to any services.
The interior designer is also in the process of looking at a whole new ceiling throughout the Fire & Ice Spa with a similar theme to the waterfall café ceiling. Dates and details will be confirmed in due course.
The architect is currently also designing future potential projects, including extending the dry relaxation area, a whole new area for additional sauna, steam rooms and treatment rooms.
NEW EQUIPMENT

· Two assault air bikes for the sports performance centre to be delivered in the next 7 days.
· A Platinum Booty Builder to be delivered in the next 4 weeks in the sports performance centre
· 8 additional bars and accompanying disc weights for studio classes
· And the swimming costume spin dryer will finally be installed in the last week of April
