May is just going to be fabulous as we continue our journey to be the best we can be while also maintaining our unbelievable pricing structure.. This month we are receiving a delivery of £250k of world class equipment from Life Fitness/Hammer strength made up of:
· We are replacing the whole of our cardiovascular equipment on the cardio floor made up of * 15 Cross trainers * 13 Bikes * 9 Treadmills * 3 Stair climbers…. These are the highest specification from Life SE3 HD series from Life Fitness with a 21 inch screen with many, many features and interactive courses to choose from. · We are upgrading our functional cable machines with 4 new Cybex Bravo Cable machines and adding to our strength equipment with a Hammer Strength plate loaded triceps dip, and MTS Leg extension and MTS kneeling leg curl.
· We will also be adding throughout the club 10 TRX cables, a safety Olympic squat bar, two 15kg Eleiko Olympic Bars and a top up of the Eleiko Olympic plates

I am currently working on finalising the awesome new group exercise timetable that is starting on Monday 13th May… We will be smashing the 900 classes per month barrier and utilising our new proud status as a Les Mills Premium Partner by adding from there programmes BARRE, BODYJAM and CXWORX while also building on our current fabulous options!
All registered users will be emailed the new timetable and class descriptions on Monday 6th May.
OTHER IMPROVEMENTS
As ever we will continue to keep our aggressive improvements programme going with this month:
· The implementation of the additional private changing cubicles, benches and improving our disabled facilities in the ladies changing room.
· A new floor in the male changing room and the completion of the new additional exit from the males to the gym.
To keep you up to date I am awaiting responses from authorities and contractors on dates and progress on our:
· £500k move into the loft space of the mill to create an additional group exercise studio and space for a further 800 pieces of equipment
· A new user-friendly entrance into the building
· A date to install the spin dryer and build the café around the pool
I can confirm the plans and designs are coming along well for the installation for the new Herbal Infusion room in our already fabulous fire & ice spa which is scheduled to be ready in October.
